The AV Community Park & Skatepark Project is an effort to bring a central gathering and recreation space to Anderson Valley. The project was conceived by AV students; the AVCSD now administers the project, but students continue to be involved in every aspect of the endeavor. The current scope includes a skatepark, community pavilion (covered picnic area with bbq), public restroom (the first in Anderson Valley!), native landscaping and community art projects.
