Mission Statement

The Mission of the Parks & Recreation Department of Anderson Valley Community Services District is to enhance the quality of life for all members of our community through enjoyable and healthy recreational opportunities. We are committed to providing community public space and supporting individuals and groups who want to offer recreational classes or activities.

Community Garden at the Elderhome

The Community Garden has been operating since 2016. There are 20 raised beds, and 14 in-ground available for rent. Contact Karen Ottoboni 707-489-0294

Teen Center


Teen Center and Beyond


November 1, 2023 at AVHS Cafeteria.

Come discuss what activities the Teen Center could offer to teens and perhaps an expand age group to include all youth in the valley! There will be a tamale dinner and activities for younger children.
